JFM Fund is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disability. We apply website accessibility standards and aim to continually improve the user experience for everyone.

 

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AAA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disability, and user-friendly for everyone.

 

Accessibility on JFM Fund Website

JFM Fund strives to ensure the seamless experience for all users, including those with disability, by implementing the following accessibility practices:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring our site can be fully navigated using only a keyboard.
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Ensuring compatibility with screen readers for users who rely on auditory information.
  • Visual Contrast: Ensuring sufficient contrast between text and background elements for readability.
  • Alternative Text: Providing alternative text descriptions for non-text content such as images and multimedia.
  • Accessible Forms: Ensuring forms are navigable and usable by screen readers, with clear labels and instructions.
  • Consistent Navigation: Providing consistent and predictable navigation throughout the website.
  • Responsive Design: Ensuring our website displays correctly on various devices and screen sizes.

 

Easy English

We have provided Easy English versions of the most important pages on our website. Easy English makes information more accessible for people with an intellectual disability.

We are working on providing Easy English versions for most of the pages on our website, but this is still a work in progress.

To see the Easy English version of a web page, please click on the words that say “Easy English” at the top of the website.

 

Accessibility Menu

Open the Accessibility Menu in the bottom right corner of the website (look for the little icon of a person) to reveal our accessibility controls. These controls will allow you to change the way that things appear on the website.

  • Contrast – Allows users to change contrast levels on a website.
  • Highlight Links – Makes links stand out on a page.
  • Bigger Text – Allows users to increase the size of the text on a page.
  • Text Spacing – Allows users to increase the space between letters and words.
  • Pause Animations – Pauses any animations on a website.
  • Hide Images – Hides images on a website.
  • Dyslexia Friendly – Adjusts the legibility of website font so that it is easier for people with dyslexia to read.
  • Cursor – Provides different ways for a user to focus on the content on a page, either through a larger cursor, by applying a reading mask, or by providing a reading guide.
  • Tooltips – When activated, it shows the user that the Accessibility Menu is being used.
  • Line Height – Allows users to increase the space between lines of text.
  • Text Align – Allows users to change the alignment of the text on the website.
  • Saturation – Allows users to change the saturation levels of the website, including low saturation, high saturation and desaturated.

 

Accessibility Team

Our accessibility team includes dedicated individuals responsible for ensuring our website adheres to accessibility standards. They oversee the implementation of accessibility features and improvements.
